Maynooth is a web/ui design project done as part of my UX/UI design course. Maynooth is a furniture store based in Ireland that has been looking to extend services onto the internet and deliver a fun and relaxing experience similar to that of their store.

The online furniture shopping service was designed to be a blend of Pinterest and Ikea, to entice users to browse beautifully curated lists of home furniture and to buy as easy as you can browse. I developed these goals after a robust research phase that determined who I was designing for and how to deliver the perfect shopping experience for these personas.

It is designed to be minimalist, elegant and content driven, with a simple interface and navigation system. This came after a testing phase where design iterations were refined and improved upon after ironing out certain navigation and user flow issues that hindered the earlier designs. The elegant, minimalist design we are left with was the result of these successful testing phases.
